There should be a much bigger warning about medications, especially psychiatric, causing tooth decay.
Why?
I do what I'm supposed to. I brush twice a day, floss, get regular cleanings.
Despite good oral hygiene, I had cavities last time. I'm still in the midst of getting them filled (there were eight...one big, seven little ones). Three down, five to go.
So, here I am, happily eating my grilled cheese sandwich.
*crunch*
After investigation, it seems a part of a tooth has chipped off next to a filling in one of my back molars (on the back side, not on the top of the tooth).
Guess I'm calling the dentist tomorrow. *SIGH*
At least it doesn't hurt. And the filling isn't loose or anything. But I keep poking at it with my tongue.
I wonder if it could also be cause from the pressure of my growing-in wisdom teeth pressing on my very back molar and the very back molar pressing onto the now chipped molar.
