In Excel, is it possible to enter a number in one field and then in another field have that number automatically write out in long form? As in, cell A1 has 35, so B1 would have a value of Thirty Five.
Someone asked me this question yesterday and after digging through the function wizard, I couldn't find a function to do this. Any ideas anyone?
edited to make it a value of Thirty Five, not a vale of Thirty Five (which evokes interesting visual images)

I'd be concerned that if I ever got it to do that, I'd find I was unable to shut it off. I've used excell a lot, but that is a mystery to me.

What RB said -- you would have to use VBA to do this -- in order to define the strings. It doesn't automatically know what words to use, I don't think.
