I was just wondering if there are any hatrackers in the Phoenix metropolitan area. I feel so alone.

Sometimes I go down to my grandparents' in Avondale. Usually about once every 4-6 months. I also have a friend that lives in Anthem, but that's probably not considered "the Phoenix metropolitan area." I used to go down to my aunt's, but she's moved to Dewey. And, of course, my cousins live down there, but.....literally speaking, the ones that aren't prostitutes are drug addicts, so I try to avoid them.
But I usually don't get togethor with online people, anyway.
Nobody's alone! I'm sorry, I don't live in the area, I live in the midwest, but I'm sure many Hatrackers live near you!! And you're not alone, we're all with you anyway.

if you're really that curious, you could send one of them an email. i suppose that would take a lot more work than just hitting post, though, wouldn't it?

Well, I WAS near Phoenix (Maricopa, actually) but I flew out of that lovely airport of yours a few days ago and am now back in VA. It was nice visiting your neck of the cacti for a while.

Well, I figured I'd better post in here now that it is nearly official and all. I'll be a Phoenixite in about a week, living and working there indefinitely.
I believe (this is less official) that I'll be in the Paradise Valley area of Phoenix near Northern Avenue and 51.
So, now that that is covered, who's up for lunch this Sunday (the 25th)? I have to be in Phoenix at 8 for a CAD test, finish that about 9, and then have until 1:30 free it looks like. E-mail or drop a post here I suppose if you're absolutely dying for something to do then.

It'll be fun to have you in the area! So, you're thinking you'll be in PV?
Unfortuntely (well, not really "unfortunately" since we're having fun), slacker and I are both in WA for the next week, so we're not in a position to be able to hook up with you tomorrow.... Good luck on your test!!

Where would you want to have lunch? I live in the vicinity of 48th street and Southern. It's right on the border of Tempe and Phoenix.
What time?
p.s. If you like Mexican food, there's a great place not too far from me. Email me(it should be in my profile) or post here.

Tomorrow's not a very good time for me, but if there's ever another get-together, I'd like to come. The problem is, I don't have a car...so someone will either have to come down to ASU and pick me up, or we'll need to meet somewhere within a mile or so of campus. Or I'll have to try to figure out how to ride the bus to wherever we go.

BobbyK lives in Yuma. In late July or early August he is driving to meet me in El Paso...? Maybe I will meet him half way. I'm sure he'd love the company. I need some Hatrackers to show me around the border.

Uh..that's a bit far for me. That would cut my visiting time in half. But I will keep you in mind for a future movie/dinner pal.

Well, I missed a bit of my post. Everything I have set up is for Monday. I'll be in Phoenix Sunday about 1 or so...
So we could do lunch or dinner on Sunday, and not be rushed. Or we could do lunch on Monday at 11 or so. I really meant to clear that up before I posted, so let me know which of those three you prefer.
Oh, and I'll have to figure out some sort of mini-hatracker bash at my new apartment when I actually manage to get settled.
