The last couple of nights I've had very vivid dreams. Night before last, I dreamed that I was considering converting to some alternative Christian faith. There was a large sports arena type complex where potential coverts were introduced to the tenants of the faith in a high school pep rally type fashion. The beliefs seemed obviously false to me, but I was tempted to go further with the conversion process because of the cool robot chairs converts received. They were tall, shallow seated, high backed chairs made of a platinum-like metal. Instead of regular chair legs, the chairs had obviously mechanical spider-like limbs, and were capable of navagating any terrain short of the absolutely vertical.
I was, however, afraid to go ahead with the conversion process due to the fact that as a symbol of their conversions, new members had to drink some sort of strange liquid from a communal pool. When they drank from the liquid, which members of the church equated with taking in the holy spirit, they changed in some fundamental non-physical way. I wasn't sure what that amounted to, exactly, but I was afraid of it.

Actually, I've been studiously avoiding Matrix trailers--I want to be completely surprised if possible. I take it platinum-like robot chairs feature prominently?

And kat, don't be silly--everybody knows that angels soar by means of the anti-gravity pods they keep clipped to their belts. Sheesh.
