If anyone is interested in downloading it and giving it a go (either against me or on mIRC), you can get it here. You will want to get both 1.46 and the Oracle patch.
If you want to play me or someone else on the rack, we can either work out a time in advance, or just post in this thread, and we'll go from there whenever I or anyone else sees it.
I use MS Messenger and can be contacted through that program at kingofallcorgis@hotmail.com.
No, I don't have AIM. Yes, I need to get it, if for no other reason that Ralphie wants me to.
Edit: Though please be aware that due to the massive amounts of spam that address was recieving, I have it set to block everyone but people on my special list.

By the way, if we could play September type II, I would really appreciate it. It's not that I can't play type I or I.5, it's just that it's easier to sideboard for the most recent type II format. On the other hand, it's much easier to come up with 'broken' combos much more quickly in I and I.5, which takes a lot of the fun out of the game for me.

PSI, if you google for 'How to play magic: the gathering', you'll probably come up with some good links. It's basically not a hard game to play at all, but it's easier to find stuff already written than to have to type out a bunch of stuff. Sorry, I'm lazy.
That said, I don't mind playing new people at all and will be more than happy to help you through any confusion you might have after reading.

That's okay Stormy. I thought about googling it but I didn't want to sift through sixty horrible sights when maybe someone already knows one that is good. I'll just try it.

Gack. Tell you what, download and install the files from the links I gave and we'll go from there, k? You don't need to bother with downloading mIRC.
Hope I didn't give the impression I was blowing you off. It's easier to show someone how to play than to type it all out in a forum.

Oh yeah I did all that stuff. But the walkthrough only shows how to use apprentice. I'm stuck when it's time to make a deck. Heck, I don't even know how many cards there should be.
I didn't think you were blowing me off! I didn't want you to think I was trying to be lazy by asking instead of Googling. You shouldn't have to show me how to play via forum. I'll just look for a good site. Don't worry about it!

I'm not terribly familiar with what's going on in Type II these days. I know a bit about Wake decks, but that's about as far as it goes. I follow -- and play -- Type I. I'll do a bit of reading about the post-rotation Type II format and see if I can't throw something together this week...

I'm just returning back to play magic, myself, so we would probably be about on equal footing except for the fact that I have a really rotten memory. So, I don't remember the good combos, which means that I tend not to make the greatest decks.

Since I have dial-up, the IP is only good for the duration of my call. People know I live in Florida. I was more concerned for the time I was connected.
