OK, so here's the dream I had last night. I thought you guys would get a kick out of it.
It was one of those dreams that starts as one thing and then morphs into something else. But anyway, I was suddenly aware that I was at a party. The party was in honor of Hatrack, and it was thrown by OSC and his wife at their house. (Who knows what I was doing in North Carolina... )
Anyway, there were jatraqueros everywhere, but sadly I didn't recognize any of you guys. I recognized a few of my friends who are not on Hatrack but were in my dream, but no one else.
As the party started to come to a close I realized that I didn't have my car, so I was stuck waiting for a ride. Everyone left except for one girl (who, upon retrospect, I think might have been OSC's daughter). I started talking to Kristine, and she was the coolest! We talked about which of OSC's books I had not read yet (I know, original isn't it? ), and she recommended Hart's Hope. And we became pretty good friends as we sat there talking. After that I helped them clean up after the party.
When my ride came, it was my whole family in our mini-van, and when we left OSC and Kristine came along (they drove their own car, however). We drove to this river kind of place and everyone started jumping in. We all went swimming! My family and OSC and his wife. One thing that I remember is trying to get my camera to work but it wouldn't turn on because it was all wet. The funny part is that I wanted to take pictures of the beautiful scenery, not of me with the Cards. Apparently it was the scenery that was unusual, not the fact that I was swimming with my favorite author and his wife.

Sorry. I mean, sorry that I made the mistake, not sorry that your're a girl. It's cool to be a girl, if you are one, and get to dream-swim with the Card-man.

JonBoy -- I couldn't respond. Not 'cause I didn't want to talk to you -- but because I can't make jello.

"Please delete that post before I call the FBI" "Please quit calling" "Please don't stalk our cat" "No, you aren't invited to the wedding" "No, you don't need to send a gift" "No, I can't remember where the reception is so you CAN send a gift"
After awhile you stop fainting, trust me. Posts: 524 | Registered: May 2003

I also can't make jello. Though, it really isn't a problem, since the mere sight of it makes me puke.
My mother used to force feed us warm liquid jello everytime we barfed, so, to this day, I can't stand the sight of it.

While I agree that it would be interesting to have a meal with the Cards, it would be terribly uncool to puke on them. Posts: 9871 | Registered: Aug 2001
