I didn't like this summer's movies, but the best movies, the ones that have given me the most the think about and have enriched my life, are The Life of David Gale and Spellbound.
I'm going to see Together, so maybe that will supplant one of the other two.

I am woefully behind on my summer movies. T3 is it for me. I'll award it a silver, probably wouldn't if I wasn't such a T2 fan.
As a card-carrying car chase aficionado, I really got chills when the Terminatrix climbs into the cab of that colossal crane.
Those 6 axle cranes are truly massive and I've often wondered at how much damage you could do with one. Now I know: they're like God's erasors. I want one for Xmas, Santy.

Gold: Pirates of the Carribean Silver: Finding Nemo Bronze: LXG (Riding with Nemo)
Still some good looking stuff to come though. I'll hold my final awards till I see: Seabiscuit (great story in history, great book, looks good in previews), new Lara Croft, the new Kevin Costner western (can't remember the name, but I do love a good western), and a couple of others. Still need to see Bruce Almighty.

I just saw Seabiscuit, did any one else? This has to be the BEST MOVIE OF THE SUMMER: poignant, inspiring, joyful, and made me cry several times. *tears streaming down her face as she types* I love this movie, it celebrates the human capacity to overcome and conquer tragedy. Tragedy that could eat your soul out but you don’t let it, instead you come out on the other side with more compassion and wisdom. Go see it!

Gold: Finding Nemo Silver: Pirates of the Caribbean (Have you noticed that my two fav movies of the summer were from DISNEY?!?!?! How did that happen? Bronze: Whale Rider
Honerable Mentions: 28 Days and Terminator 3 just made me happy. I had a Terminator Fest the other day, and it reminded me how amazing all of those movies are.
I definately ranted a bit about Terminator and Sarah Conner in the Tomb Raider thread....just to show you how obsessed I am now

I agree with avadaru on the first two, but beyond that, can't vote, since I've seen no other movies this summer

Far and away the best movie I've seen of the summer.
Silver: X2
A bit too long but a terrific sequal.
Bronze: Matrix 2
Certainly worth watching but a huge disapointment.
I only saw four movies this summer so that's all I can say, my family dragged me off to see Hollywood Homicide which sucked, and that's the fourth one.
The Tomato rating is giving me much pleasure by the way, i started a Gigli thread based on that rating but the thread died as quickly as the movie is.

We are not reviving this thread. Darth Ender is. He does that sometimes. I never understood why.
