Yup, I just started grad school there.

As long as I don't have a lot of reading to do or a paper deadline, any weekend will probably work for me. So just give me a heads up whenever y'all want to came down.

I'm doing a master's in Latin American Studies with a focus on development. I think I'm still somewhat awed by my classes because all of the professors have basically said, "I'm interested in exploring this topic and I'm not sure where I want to go with it. Let me pick your brains." That part at least, is a lot different than I expected.

I assume UNT is North Texas (you really don't want to know how long it took me to figure that out, particularly if I'm wrong)?

And I'm going to turn your question around on you, what's your program?

I'm getting a master's in tech writing at, yep [Smile] , University of North Texas in Denton while I'm still working in Dallas during the day. Coccinelle is getting her master's in education (I think...maybe French) from Texas Women's University.

Not that I've gone to class yet - my GRE scores didn't make it with my application so right now I was provisionally accepted until they get them, so I hadn't registered.

Speaking of, I need to go and call them, I think.

Heh. Virginia Tech claimed they hadn't received my transcripts when I applied there. The best part was that although I'd sent my transcripts, they could have just looked it up in their computers or gone to the registrar's office, since I did my undergrad at Tech. Silly people.

I'm in Atlanta's Northwest suburbs, on the near edge of the sprawl. Ophelia (Lindsay) and her whippin' boy Ben are in Athens.

I hope to have a Halloween Party this year, sure to be interesting (especially fir Ben and Lindsay come). I'll let y'all know about it, and the possibility of another WenchCon, when things settle a bit in my life. [Smile]

I'm in Canada too. For now. Montreal. If you put me in the Hatrack Factions list, *please* add provisional! [Smile]

Or you can put me directly in the Everywhere clump with Raia, as in four month I'm 99% sure to be out of here, and I'm 99% out of the first 99% sure to be in Lyon for 6+ months. After that, there's a 99% chance I don't know where I'll be. [Big Grin]

Raia, to answer your question from the first page, I'm in Adrian(near the ohio border) Psycho's in Grand Rapids, Telp's in Detroit, and Policy was in Lansing the last I heard. Unfortunately, that means we're all separated by at least an hour's drive.

That's what's goin 'round the block, Jenny..

Sorry Goody.. I always think Chicago is a state considering it gets more attention then Illinois itself..

California- those of you in HoCal are just those who havn't been designated to SoCal or NoCal yet (either that or I'm just too lazy to back track to see if you mentioned it.. so mention it again..) - if anyone knows which of those Lalo lives in it would be appreciated, so I can get him out of the depths of hell..

And who is fallow now? Is there any name set in stone as of yet? I was seeing some Mallow, and some other name.. what's up there?

Anyway. Updated.

Does one have to have fallen asleep drunk for this to happen?

Actually to be perfectly honest.. the only time I ever drank was when I was somewhere around four or five and I told my dad that I was thirsty.. he handed me a cup and made me beleive it was apple juice.. I have never drinked alcohol since then.. and I have never liked my father since then either.. - I've also never done any drugs that weren't vital to my health.

I do happen to get in a sort of drunk-like moodthough when I don't sleep for two days.. and the only times I've woke up to kissing someone was after I hadn't slept for two days.. *shrugs* connection or no?

My lord and master the supreme kai pointed out that Pepek was confused about our family. Also I noticed that Mayday felt left out. So here to clear up the confusion is more complete information. Hatrack names are added in brackets.

ak's family clump:
ak = TheRopeOfAllah, [Tatiana, aka, ana kata]
fiances = kaioshin00 [kaioshin00], unkillableGrisha [Marek, Koga, Grisha], xxDamienAngelxx [DannyXCore, anti-Christ], BunnV [not a hatracker yet -- we totally must change this],
son = AndreyZazarineh [Boshenka],
daughters = sowdajee [^Saudade^], JaidenMR [Jaiden],
brothers = BernardLUE42 [BYUCnslr, InsanityPlea], AnEmptyTryst [CalvinMaker]
sister-in-law = MBWallace [MaydayDesiax]

As for why I have so many fiances, if you knew these 4 guys you'd have asked them to marry you too! Why did they say yes? That continues to astound and gratify me. You'll have to ask them that. [Smile] (But I totally have a testimony for plural marriage now.)
