((((tt&t)))) Sometimes numbness is nice, especially when it replaces pain. Not because I'm hiding the pain, but because I realized that it was not worth it. So now as I'm neither sad, nor happy... Hope it changes to happy soon enough, though ! I'm working on it... In the meantime, you could say I'm "comfortably numb"...

And because of being sometimes (pretty often lately) on the wrong side of your statement, I can say that when it really sinks in, that person will feel worse about it than you do.
