Don't be so sure. Most astronauts are trained military people (I think), even if they do end up becoming scientists. They would have an advantage in knowing how best to improvise, but I don't think even they could match the brutality of cavemen. The fight may be evn at best.
I do give the overall advantage to cavemen because their entire life has been spent surviving on almost nothing. That makes people very brutal.

I dunno. Like Angel says, the astronauts have the advantage of modern communication. With shuttle crews, you either have an air force military background or as a mission specialist, a phd. So there is a good chance they will be able to communicate basic tactics.
Also, cavemen surviving on nothing may make them more brutal, but it also makes them in worse physical shape. That is, the average caveman at any given time may be starving, diseased, or injured. The average astronaut will usually be almost in peak physical condition. (this would not be true of the average joe in the rest of society, but astronauts are different)
Unless they're fighting in something like a cage where people cannot get away to improvise and communicate before fighting then I think astronauts have the edge.
