shrimp chips do sound gross. The crab chips I'm talking about aren't crab flavored, but old bay seasoning flavored, which just makes them good and spicy, made by Utz, and the closest to me they're available is like Pennsylvania.

The only potato chips I ever seemed to be able to find in France were ketchup-flavored. Why do the French think Americans like ketchup so much? [Dont Know]

I'm not a huge chip fan, myself. My favorites are goldfish pretzels, and a new whole-grain cracker I found called "TLC - Tasty Little Cracker." Yum!!

Since ketchup flavored chips are new to the US, maybe they got the idea from the Canadians.

Herr's has been making ketchup-flavored chips for several years, I think.

Pirate Booty! It's like Cheetos, only it's health food!
And kosher, too. [Big Grin]

Although I dispute the "health food" label. Better than Cheetos or chips nutritionwise, certainly. But hardly actually HEALTHY.

Pirate's Booty and Veggie Booty was under a controversial cloud for a while because they did not have accurate info on the bag. It became a WeightWatcher's treasure trove, with ladies packing in the Booty, thinking it was many fewer points than it was.
Vaguely flavored cardboard, that is how I would describe it.

Oh, I like it. As long as you haven't had real chips to compare it to in a couple of days, it's edible.

And I finished my chips. [Frown]

My husband is so used to eating TLC with herbed goat cheese, he says they taste "wrong" without it. [Big Grin]

(Ok, Pirate Booty is not really health food, but they don't have trans fats or artificial flavors or colors.)

I bet Papa Moose would think of it as "health food". That and veggie chips. [Roll Eyes] [Razz]
