There's the story, and the video. A pair of pub owners claim they've found ghosts on their CCTV recordings.
I think it's hilarious and a great gimmick, but do any of our video/photography folks feel like weighing in on what could have caused the blurs?

To me the ghostly orb looks like a dust mote extremely close to the camera and floating on an air current.

I agree, scifibum. The one that "goes up the stairs" can still be seen between the camera and the wall above the doorway.

Forgive me, I don't know much about CCTV in the UK. Do they have sound as well? If so, then we need to hear the EVP that must have accompanied the ghosts. I think we should know if the ghosts had intentions of becoming intoxicated.

I have no idea about the sound, but I'm shocked there was no camera in the bar itself. You can't go anywhere here without being recorded.

This right on the heels of that shocking bigfoot discovery. Oh man. It's a great time to believe in rumors.

This paper is the very definition of rag. I think people buy it for the comedy value. I hope, anyway.

Cameras are tricky things! You can easily get what looks like a light anomaly due to camera problems and all sorts of environmental factors. If it can't be recreated under controlled conditions, who knows what it is?
