I was doing a research paper on Elizabeth Bishop, when I came to realize that it wasn't working. As is, I have to pick some other artist of the 40s-50s and discuss his or her impact on society.
Great. The only problem is that I can't think of anyone. I have to write a 5 page rough draft by Wendsday. I'd greatly appreciate some suggestions for people!

Duke Ellington and Miles Davis had a huge impact on the artistic history of those decades, and a report on either one of them would be legendary.

Oysh --> off to the library in ~ 2 hours to get the books and start writing! I can read all the books today, write 2.5 pages today and tomorrow and get the whole thing nicely done ^^. Now how to fit in my Biology examination in as well...

Oh, c'mon. Kerouac is so played out. Wouldn't you really rather do it on Ed Wood and be one of the cool kids?

Boy that could be a brilliant one. To a large extent, I think Rockwell captured an America that never was, and large swaths of society swallowed it hook, line, and sinker. We're still dealing with the repercussions of that.
