Very cool! Thanks for the link. I'm going to have to check out the San Jose show. I've seen a couple Cirque shows in SF and a couple in Las Vegas, and they've all been fantastic.

Hmm. From what I've heard, if you're expecting another CdS show like the ones you've seen before you may be disappointed. There is less focus on the acrobatics and other circusy features of the show and more on the music. Not saying it's a bad show or anything, just not quite the same.
*still crossing his fingers that Quidam will come to SF next fall*

I'm obsessed with Cirque du Soleil, ever since we used their soundtracks for an old job and my best high school friend, a dancer, showed me their videos.
I have seen Dralion, Mystere, and O in person. Mystere was my favorite--you can't beat the high-flying acrobats.

One of these days I'll have to go to Vegas to see all the CdS shows there. Those are about the only ones I haven't seen live.

Good thing I actually paid attention to the official show description (linked in my first post) and didn't expect that, eh?
There will be about 45 performers in the show, and while the focus will be primarily on music, the acrobats, clowns, and other artists primarily associated with their shows will be on the stage for the duration of the performance.
