It is the time of year when we reflect on the past, and try to improve for the next year. Over the past few months, I've been a heavy poster, leaving my mark on just about everyone's threads. This puts me at high risk for causing offense, and if I have, I am sincerely sorry.
A couple of 'rackers have told me that something I posted offended them. Since I never intend to hurt anybody, all apologies that I offer are completely sincere. I think I have made peace with those members, but I worry about anyone that I might have hurt who didn't let me know that I was being hurtful.
I want to take this opportunity to apologise to the board as a whole for being obnoxious, bratty, inappropriately lighthearted, or insensitive. Also, if I am doing something that is offensive, I would rather know about it, so that I can stop doing it and make amends with the offended parties.
If any member wants to let me know about something I am doing or have done that needs correcting, you can post here, or you can email me: queen.esther at verizon.net.
I hope that we can proceed in the new year with a clean slate and with friendship.

Well, I forgive you for having more posts than I...
Of course you're still going to step on somebody's toes from time to time, it's bound to happen to every poster and especially to prolific posters like yourself, but I hope we can always find a way to learn to behave and get over the bad moments.

I for one have never found you obnoxious or insensitive. You are only mildly bratty, and when you are I find it funny (as I am sure it is intended to be) and I think you are only appropriately lighthearted.
So I appreciate your sentiment, but from my observations, you've nothing to worry about.

Shanah tovah umetukah, Tante. All sins are forgiven!
I guess it's that time of apologies and forgiveness. The board seems to have quite a few of them lately. I appreciate everyone's efforts, and while I may not have always agreed with you, Tante, there's nothing so drastic that you need to apologize for! But since you did, I'll tell you that you're forgiven.

I even forgive you for starting this thread before I had a chance to do so.
I would also like to offer my apologies to everyone here. As Tante mentioned, it is almost Rosh Hashanah, the new year. Traditionally, now is when we reflect on and repent for the past year.
I would like to apologize to any and all Hatrackers who have felt slighted by me. Any I knew were hurt I have already spoken with; but I am all-too-aware that my posting style can be abrasive, and I have probably hurt people without realizing -- or even on occasion with malice aforethought.
I am sorry. And if anyone has specifics (now or at any time) they would like to address with me, my email is rivka AT uclalumni DOT net. Or here is fine too.

*cracks whip at Joldo* I'm present. But I like these two. I think I'm going to share my potato chips with them instead.

I love the spirit of this post. No one here has offended me. But I hope if I've offended you, you'll let me know and let me ask forgiveness!
Hmm, I wasn't around for the potato chip derail. That sounds kinda fun. But I'll stop there or I'll REALLY be in need of forgiveness!

מחול, מחול, מחול! But what for?
I'd like to apologise here as well for all the hatred I've reflcted, all the harshness, all the horrible comments, all the awful jokes, and making some of you resent me for life.

I believe that that information it is censored from the public's mind and can be found only in the darkest, most evil corners of the Talmud. *Shudder.*
Don't play with it - I've read what happens to the Goyim.
Happy new [Jewish] year as of another 10 hours or so according to Holy Lan(d/b) Time!

And you can't preapologise, Scotty. It doesn't work that way; I don't know how you Catholics work, but we Jews don't use indulgences...

Well, the ones I work with pretty much work 9 to 5, Monday through Friday. They take an lunch break, though. Good workers, reliable, dependable, courteous. I'd highly recommend them.

I need no further proof that I am not, nor ever shall be, Catholic.

I'm positive that that didn't work. Which is why I'm letting you know that I am a failure. If you feel the need to expel me from this thread, I will leave willingly.
Edit:
kat- I don't think that "wha..." is a word. Perhaps you are spelling it wrong?

katherina, I guess you are right. The apology is impersonal, since I really didn't address it to any one person.
Have I done something to offend you? Something that I ought to apologise for? I hope not, but if I have, please let me know, either here or email, so that I can try to set things right. I mean this in all seriousness and sincerity.

Kat-- I was playing with the idea that your comment was directed at my first post rather than at TS, since we both apologized for things in a rather impersonal manner. (BUT TS did it with sincerity, while mine was wholeheartedly insincere)
