Check this out! This is about 40 miles from where I live, and has the main Interstate shut down for about 90 miles.
The article says there are 12 fires, but actually as of yesterday night, there were 20, none of them naturally occuring. The way this state has been ravaged by fire the past few years, I cannot believe that someone might have intentionally set 20 fires near a major highway. Scary scary stuff. Luckily, the nearest town of Alberton was saved with no damage even though the fire was withing feet of houses and businesses.

Holy cow. The amount of damage you could do by setting that many fires is pretty mind-boggling.

You shoulda seen the smoke in Missoula last night. I'm pretty comfortable with the idea of Armageddon after living here for ten summers.

Montana and Mordor both start with "mo." They both have flat plains and craggy mountains. They both are barren wastelands. And they're both full of not-quite-human creatures trying to overthrow the government of men.
