No one else going to do this? They're giving a lot of stuff away. We could help each other with answers and what not. Fun.

I might...I used to be a fan, and I still read him...although I am not sure why at this point.

I was tempted to do it, but you have to get each question right to move on to the next round, and I don't have the prequel. So it doesn't matter how much I know about the rest of the series. I suppose I could have checked the prequel out at the library, but there really wasn't enough time to read it before the contest started.

The first question is who was the Amrylin Seat before Sierin Vayu? Which is Tamra Ospenya. It says to just put in her first name. A list of all the Amyrlin Seats of the New Era, their Ajahs and years of reign can be found in the Guide, page 216. I found this on line at http://www.encyclopaedia-wot.org/ I figure most will be silly stuff like this that is going to have to be looked up.

Yeah, I'm in (and waiting for the question 2). And excited. The new prologue was absolutely incredible. This book promises to deliver. And the end is in sight (with 12 being the final one). And the New Spring comic book looks to be well done, as well.

There are rules about what type of contests can be run per state....it is you states laws fault, not the contests fault.

Oh, I know it is the state's fault. I'm just wondering what about this contest makes it void, because I've never seen Arizona listed on a contest before.

This week's answer is cuendillar. Seemed almost to easy. Two questions this week since they messed up last week

While his review of COT (book 10) was lame (and made the book an even worse let-down that it already was), from everything I have seen (the prologue and chapter 1 from Amazon) it really does look like it will live up to the hype. He says that plots finally get closed off and answers are given, while the final book is set up.

I've started the contest now, mainly since I didn't know the first answer (hard to know when you've only read up to book 3). Hopefully I can keep up. I'll agree with Jay that this week's was easy. I didn't even need to look for the answer. Good stuff.
As for the book 11 review, I read it and it made it sound good. Whether it is or not is to be seen. Of course I have a lot of catching up to do since I'm only about half way through book 3 (and I've got a huge stack of books 4 through 10 sitting next to my bed).

Sweet, thanks for posting that review. I hadn't seen it yet. Wow.... Wonder what Nynaeve is going to do? Heal someone of death I bet. She'll probably have to link with Flynn to do it though.

I'm actually more interested in seeing some plot points closed off. That should be really cool. And maybe, just maybe, we might find out who killed Asmodean.

Thanks for posting a link to that review, I've been both looking forward to and dreading Knife of Dreams. WOT was the series that got me back into reading after a long break (my boyfriend and best friend couldn't stop talking about it) so I gave it a go and loved it. Now I always have a book on the go. Unfortunately like most people I've got more and more disillusioned with the series. If the plot moves forward it could get me excited again for the conclusion of the series.
