I was surfing The Mud Connector the other day and I stumbled across an Ender's Game MOO (Multiplayer Text based Roleplaying Game). You can connect to it here: telnet://ansible.foomoo.org:6000
Thought some of you gamers here might like to check it out. It looks pretty good. Roleplay required, decent sized world of the battle school. I didn't realy take the time to play it cause I was building on MEM, but I may go back to check it out later. It looks good.

They are running a moo because it is about 8 years old.
I was a big MUD player back in the mid 1990's and played for about 6 months on Ansible
They are very very rigid with rules and it wasn't run all that great back then but if you get a chance its kinda fun to explore battle school, the battleroom however was hella hard for them to re-create but walking around battle school was entertaining.

This is one of my pet peeves... it shouldn't matter with Mu*s and such. The games are not for profit. They're basically just big roleplaying sessions. They're made by fans for fans, and they don't break copy right laws at all. They shouldn't need permission.
They're basically big fanfics.

I've been playing on there for a while. I really don't like their rping style. And the battle room seems poorly done. I could do better I may stick around for a while just cause its kinda cool. But I don't much like it so far, its a good idea, and not too badly done. But a different rp style and more active coding team could do much better with this.
