So*, the Ketchup family drove up and Boon and her kinder drove down, and we met in Atoka, OK for a day of outdoors fun on Saturday.
Of course, the real reason we got together was so Thomas and Emma could meet.
And meet they did! While we were eatingdinner, Thomas and Emma went in the playpen next to the table together.
Things got wild fast-- before long, Thomas was giving Emma full body hugs and they were kissing by proxy, trading sippy cups back and forth! The family dating rules were being completely disregarded.
But in the end, we all had a good afternoon and evening, and look forward to seeing each other again. Just a warning to other Hatrack parents: kids sure are starting this internet dating thing early these days!

I can call whoever Mama called last. But whenever I do, Mama takes the phone and says, "Sorry, the baby hit redial again." And then she puts the phone up. I don't even know what "redial" means.

I actually have a little apron/sunbonnet for her when she gets a little older somewhere. You can wear it as an apron or button it up to be a little sunbonnet.

Did you notice, my dear Princess, that we both had yellow sippy cups? We both have excellent taste in sippy-ware. When you come to my house, I'll show you my whole collection!

I would love to see your sippy cups! My favorite color is actually red. Usually. But my Mama said I had to use the disposable cups in case I threw it in poop or something.
And maybe you can show me how to walk! I may be older, but I don't know everything, yet.

Emma saw a picture of Thomas and said "Boo! Boo!" this morning.

That's priceless!
Normally, Boo lays on my chest and watches my screensaver for a while before bed. Well, not anymore. It plays a slideshow of the pictures I have saved in my computer, and every time Emma shows up, he lifts his head up and grins, laughs, or tries to clap his hands. Then I laugh and sleepytime is ruined.
