Chris and I have friends coming up to stay the night tomorrow. We're going to make them dinner and then go out for Midnight Rockin' Bowl at the bowling alley in town. (Well one of them. Hanover actually has two. One of them even proudly displays "Now with automatic scoring".) <hangs head> I'm so middle class.
Oh, and I'll probably drag Chris to Robots, expecially since it seems to be getting decent reviews.

You're so middle class? What exactly are you having done to your ceiling?
And I'm betting it's spelled "Midnite", not "Midnight". And it sounds fun. Especially with the automatic scoring, you've gotta have the automatic scoring.

Oh, and my plans this weekend are mundane, but I'm looking forward to them. Going to finish painting the upstairs hallway, remove that wasp nest (if I can get myself psyched up), and go to Libbey's last puppy class!

I have today off. It is a day that we get off because we did not have a single snow day. It is also the begining of my spring break.
Today I am running errands and then starting my crazy weekend of All-State band. I am a string bass player and have never played with a band ever, but they wanted me and it will be something to add to me resume. I also really enjoyed All-state orchestra so I am guessing that I will have fun. It is basically going to be 2.5 days of playing.
The really fun thing starts on Tuesday(I figure this counts because Spring break is just a huge weekend right?). I am flying to Hawaii with my orchestra. I will finally be warm! When we get back to the high school on the following Monday my other orchestra will be rehearsing there. The guy I really like in it so I think I might poke my head in so he can see me tan and gorgeous.

I'm taking the train to Burlington tonight to spend the weekend with one of my best friends (and to hit the Ikea in Burlington for furniture, which he lives across from). We're definitely going to hit the pub for more pints than are strictly healthy, because it's been far too long since I did.
Hm, maybe the beer and the Ikea trip can be combined...

I am getting out of work two hours early today. This is because I worked an extra two hours on Monday, and decided I'd rather have the time than the money this week. It's going to be nice to get home early for once.
My mom's birthday is on Sunday. We're going to White Fence Farm. I am so excited. We haven't been there in several years, and it will be the kids first time. They're going to really love the museum. And the food's really good, too!
Otherwise... lots of reading and watching TV. I'll probably also clean the house a bit, since it needs it.

Yeah, I'm fine. Much better than I was last weekend. I've just been busy this week, so haven't spent much time online. But this is exactly why I'm leaving work early. I need a mental vacation, even if it's only a few hours worth.

We're having our daughter's birthday party this weekend. I'm really excited, as I haven't seen my family since Christmas and none of them have seen our new house. We also get to tell them all that we're having a baby. I've been so tempted to just phone them all, but the delight of telling them in person won out.
Many many moons ago, when I was a young Navy wife, I used to do the midnite bowling thing with a group of women whose husbands and boyfriends were on the same ship as my husband when the ship was deployed. It was a blast!
A few months ago, my boyfriend and I wanted to do something fun with my girls, and there were no movies playing that we wanted to see, so we decided to take them bowling. Little did we know that there is only one bowling alley on Maui, and it is sooooo OLD... there were 6 or 8 lanes, and the ball retrievers (is that what they're called?) were held together with duct tape. Maui now has anti-smoking regulations, so there was no smoking in the building (although we were the only patrons at the time), but the smell of decades of smoking permeated everything in the place. It was a less than stellar experience, I can tell you.
This weekend, I will be shoe shopping with my 13 year old, and will probably have friends over for dinner and games on Sunday evening.

I suppose Ivygirl is finally going to drag me out shopping for a prom dress for her. Running out of time to get it....but she knows how much I hate shopping (especially for clothes)
Hopefully this weekend will be more fun than last. Last weekend I helped my dad rip out the old carpet in their house (and had an allergic reaction to the fun stuff we kicked up in the process). This weekend, I get to come in to work and get my house ready for my in-laws who are visiting next week (this will be their first visit to our new house). Maybe my weekend fun will consist of playing a little World of Warcraft tonight and eating an ice cream sandwich.

I'm... going to study. A lot (for me, which actually translates to "at all"). I've got seven quizzes/papers/exams/orals next week, and some of them have vocabulary lists.
Though I think I will take time out to go see Robots. I just can't pass up an animated Robin Williams.

Well, my plans are to work, work, work on papers for school, and play "Carrot Juice Is Murder" at a coffeehouse Saturday night. And then work some more. (My actual weekend will probably go something more like procrastinate, procrastinate, procrastinate, play at the coffeehouse, procrastinate, panic, procrastinate a bit more, and then maybe work. But you only asked for plans. )

I am going to Hell's Kitchen for breakfast tomorrow morning with I3, before he gets on a plane to San Diego.
I have no other set plans for the weekend, however there is a very good chance that I am going to buy a motorcycle. For real this time. My tax refund and bonus are both sitting in my bank account, the bike's at a dealer about 5 miles from my house. *whistles*
Oh! And I'm going to a jazz club Sunday night. That will be fun.

Oh, and my dad's in town for the week, and I'm heading out with him to lunch tomorrow at the home of some people I really like and don't see nearly often enough.
