I loved the music in all of the Mario games. I would love to be able to find a copy of all the Mario music, sort of like an ultimate collection, on CD. Does anyone know where I might be able to get my hands on a copy of the Mario Soundtrack???

When I was in CEGEP, I wrote down the main theme on paper, and we arranged it for trumpet, clarinet, saxophone, two guitars, bass and drums. We played it at our end-of-semester exam. It was a huge hit.
I know that video game soundtracks are very popular in Japan. They have official Nintendo big bands that play video game music concerts and the like. You could probably order some CDs online. I doubt you'll be able to find the actual music that you find on the Nintendo game, unless you simply plug your NES into your soundsystem and record it on tape (which is what I did). Or you could try downloading it on Kazaa.

I think Nintendo Power gave out a soundtrack of Super Smash Bros. Melee, awhile ago. It's not all Mario music, but all of it is awesome. SSBM had some really nice orchestrated pieces. You might be able to score a copy off of eBay.

Heh, I registered back then and posted a few times around here. Not really a lurker since I didn't even look around here very much at all until recently. 0.0
Oh, sorry for bringing this topic up four months later...I just saw your reply.

I'm one of the annoying people that can cluck extremely loud with their tongue. However, instead of just random noice, I'm able to vary the sound of it so it resembles various songs. The Mario theme is one of the easiest to do since it isn't extremely fast or complicated, so it sounds very similar when I do it. I've had numerous people actually recognize it at work when I do it, which always starts up a fun conversation.

There's a site somewhere that sells game soundtracks specifically. I htink it's called gamemusic.com I could be wrong though.
