I see that everyone's sharing their artwork now. Might as well give it a try. Critiques/comments are welcomed since I'm still learning. Portrait first attempt at drawing portraits Butterfly A butterfly with an 'old' tree behind it. this was for someone but he never was able to get it and everyone was envious. Jr. Beta submission intentionally for a competition but some teachers are just plain lazy
My artwork album isn't quite complete since most of my artwork is at school. I also recently won my school's "beauty pagaent". You can see some pictures there. That was a fun week *sigh*. I haven't been around lately due to stupid highschool and friends, sorry. I'm so worried that I'm gonna fail and do the wrong stuff. I'll be around more, now that I have a week of vacation! *does a little jig*

Wow, those are really cool! You're very good at drawing hands. That's usually the toughest part. I loved "potrait"; the hands drawing the picture was an interesting idea.

1) Hands had some strangeness in the fingernail area in the hand on the right hand side.
2) Tiger's front left leg seemed too large. Otherwise this particular portrait was beautiful. Amazing...
Your self-portraits are really very nice. Angle 1 and Angle 2 I'm talking about. Great stuff.
The first attempt at a portrait in the one called portrait was really great. I love the hands in that one (on the figure as well as the insertion of the artist's hands. Very nice stuff.

Pooka: It's the Asian Invasion! Or the half-Asian invasion in my case.
I like how your pictures look so...organic, I guess would be the word. My favorite is the butterfly and the tree. I like how the tree flows all over the page. Nice use of color in many of the drawings, as well. I'm not a huge fan of abstract art, but the bold, contrasting colors in the Jr. Beta picture makes for an eye-catching picture. Nice job on everything.

Warning. Sheila, DO NOT TAKE ART AT SCHOOL. Don't do it unless you can get into talented. The regular art teacher, Mr. Barnes is evil. One of his favorite habits is going around the class and yelling "that's ugly" to people whose work he doesn't like. And he doesn't like much, or leave much room for anything but his style. Consider yourself warned.

I used oil and chalk pastel for most of those. Pastel or pencil is the best.
Don't worry Toretha I'm in Talented Art I. We're making baskets out of pine needles and rafia. It's somehow relaxing except for the times whenever the pine needle pokes you.
I taught myself Elvish and Dwarvish runes cuz I got bored one day. I wrote my name in Angerthas (Dwarvish) in the middle. Circle of Life represents my traits, hobbies and friends.
The butterfly was actually for Paul since he requested it but people were too envious and everytime I sent it, it always came back.
