OK, I teach in an urban high school and with the upcoming 2PAC movie the dabate is hot and heavy with my students around the school. 2Pac is alive... No, he's dead... Then why's he have a new movie and song... He' really living on an island in the Bahamma's... and on and on it goes.
My opinion is that the people that where close to him have done a spectacular job of capitalizing on this debate and are making as much money as they can. Whether this is right or wrong, morally, is irrelevant because it is finacially genius.
So I guess I'm currious what the thought is out there. Does this even matter, are we going to see some miraculous return, or will this go down as another Urban Legend that lives on long after 2Pac relevance?

I agree, he'll always be around. It's just I've been so freakin tired of hearing about it at school that I wondered if anyone outside the urban setting really cared.

I do. I find myself staying awake at night long after the kids have gone to bed, pondering the issue. Really, the only reason I throw myself into Hatrack is to try to take my mind off of it. Often, I'll have a big glass of Merlot as well, and put on ice skating or something to drown out my racing mind.
