Thought I made a new thread like this but I couldn't find it.

So here is a link to a comic dealing with how not to write the perfect novel.

Pearls Before Swine

The link above opens to a daily post, not the "A Writer's Journey" of April 13, 2104 I think that's intended.

For some reason, I just don't care for "Pearls Before Swine." It's in my local paper and I look at it from time to time, but it never grabs me. Maybe it's the weird characters (no weirder than some in other strips I like a lot)...maybe it's the presence of the writer / artist as a character in the strip...maybe I just found it a less-than-satisfactory substitute for "Cathy" (which, I think, it replaced in my local paper.)

Oh, yeah. The link takes you to today's comic---but the archive is accessible. What date does this "Writer's Journey" start? 'Cause anybody that's interested could go back to that date and work forward...

Let's try this one.

Again

Maybe I should have waited a day.

And it's not my favorite by far--I would rather have Cathy--but it does some interesting things with writing books now and then.
