Here is a list of things that you can do each week as we work on our novels (suggestions welcomed).

Last Week's Goals
Still having too much fun reading. Just finished another 600 page fantasy novel in just two weeks. Sorry, but that's very fast for me. Tempting to buy the next on in the series even though I already have books in my To Read List.
My goals for next week:
Continue reading. I may want to start working on the outline of one of the book ideas I started last year. After listening to a recent Writing Excuses I have gotten inspired on writing again.
What did I learn this week?
Well, it wasn't exactly this week, but the Writing Excuses episode on the "Hollywood Formula" with Lou Anders from Pyr was a wonderful podcast. I think it's their best yet. My wive has recently started practicing becoming an editor and one story she's been working on had some things that needed work but we were having trouble determining the exact cause. Listening to this podcast helped her a lot in this. So, I guess my wife and I both learned something this week.
MAGIC'S FOOL (Working Title): Chapter 6.
No. (Actually, I miscounted last week. If I meant to complete one chapter, I did, but it was Chatper 5.)
MAGE STORM: Revisions to chapters 2 and 3. Really.
Starting.
SEVEN STARS: Let it rest.
Easy one.
BLOOD WILL TELL: More playing with the cover art.
Yes, but I may only be proving that I need to find a pro.
BLOOD IS THICKER: Write Chapters 7 and 8.
Yes, and got a start on 9.
OTHER:
Update my blog twice a week.
Yes.
Next Week's Goals:
On the Shelf:
THE IGNORED PROPHECY
DREAMER'S ROSE
MAGIC'S FOOL:
Chapter 6.
MAGE STORM:
Revisions to chapter 3.
SEVEN STARS:
Let it rest.
BLOOD WILL TELL:
At this point, there's probably not much more I can do but wait to hear from the agent that has the full ms.
BLOOD IS THICKER:
Write Chapters 9 and 10.
OTHER:
Update my blog twice a week.
Unfortunately, my MO has been shifting from writing every day to writing a ton on the weekends and then spending the week recovering. I want to get away from that next week. I also want to finish editing the last 11 scenes, but 8 is a more realistic goal.
