I have just been informed that my fiction has been accepted for publication by a magazine (as opposed to Wattpad or a writers' site) for the first time!
"The End of Independence" will be published in issue 9 of Alternate History Fiction.
It was not workshopped here. In fact, it was written in 1982.
Unlike the short stories that I am sending to 10 magazines each, I was not trying to market this one.
I just happened to see the magazine and say "This would be perfect for "Independence". Then I got it on the first shot.
