Well, I did it. At least, I think I did (Pending Approval). My novelette, "Heart of Oak" should be available at Smashwords shortly for $0.99.

Haven't tackled Amazon yet.

Well done, and Smashwords approval doesn't usually take very long, and the approval only means it hasn't shipped to the likes of B&N and Apple yet. It'll be for sale on Smashwords already.

Thanks. The cover is actually my own photo (taken several years ago at Princess Louisa Inlet, British Columbia).

I still haven't gotten it-- I keep forgetting to fire up the Nook. One of these days I will get it and another one from here.

Hey, even IGMS complemented this story. They didn't buy it, but I did get a very nice personal rejection. That's one of the reasons I picked it to start with.
