I have a published trilogy of children's fantasy adventure novels: "The Fisherman's Son", "The City of the Golden Sun", and "Return of the Golden Age". The Audio Book of "The Fisherman's Son" - produced on a professional sound stage, read by the voice actor Andrew Dollar - was named a Finalist in the 2006 ForeWord Magazine Book of the Year Awards. I have short stories published in four anthologies: "Twisted Tails: An Anthology to Surprise and Delight" which is the Winner of the Anthology category in the 2006 Dream Realm Awards, "Twisted Tails II: Time on our Hands - Volume 1", "Twisted Tails II: Out of Time - Volume 2", and "Illuminated Manuscripts". I've also had the great honor of editing and compiling two fantastic books for writers. "TINSEL WILDERNESS: Lessons in Survival as a Professional Creative Person in Hollywood & Other Extreme Climates" is a very inspiring book of true-life stories by Hollywood Writer-Producer-Director John Klawitter. "From Hollywood Experts and Published Authors: Words of Wisdom for Starving Artists" is based on articles from my free online newsletter, "The Golden Goblet", and includes additional articles written by the same authors. The Midwest Book Review includes this book on its Writer’s Bookshelf and states in their review: "Useful, practical, and an easy read, 'From Hollywood Experts And Published Authors' is strongly recommended for anyone aspiring to a career as a professional writer regardless of genre or media." All these books can be found on my website:

Ooh! So you're a bit of a pro ;-)

I always find it interesting looking at other critters' backgrounds. There's such a range of background experience here. I mean, I started off writing creatively, but got into journalism because of the more regular pay. I've since recently got back into novel and story writing, but I've also started on scripts as well. Oh, and a long time ago (when I was 17) I released a single I wrote with DJ GRH and Paul Maddox, who are a pair of international DJs/producers signed to Tidy Trax (Norman 'Fatboy Slim' Cook's label).

What are other people's backgrounds?

Regards

Thanks Marilyn! I think I'm one of those people who bites off far more than they can chew, but somehow manage to only occasionally choke. But I think that's the best thing for modern writers. It's just so difficult to make a living unless you seriously multi-task!
