Shimmer has accepted my short story "Through the Obsidian Gates" for their Autumn issue. The beginning was workshopped at Hatrack numerous times, under the titles "Game of Love" and "Ball of Fire, Ball of Bones". My thanks to everyone who commented on it!

Congratulations. Seems like Hatrack writers are really getting noticed by the folks at Shimmer; there have been a bunch of stories accepted by them lately.

I hadn't noticed. But, speaking about Hatrack-Shimmer connection, Shimmer was founded by some people from Hatrack.
Thanks!

Congratulations! Shimmer knows a good thing when they see it. I like the blind reading process and the refusal to include any of their own work -- I think both have probably contributed to the swift success and positive reviews of the mag.

Thanks, guys! I'm excited to finally see "A Warrior's Death" in print, but then there "Obsidian Gates" to look forward to in Autumn

Congratulations, Aliette! This is great news. Is this #9 or 10 now for you?

Thanks!
It's #8, I haven't sold anything since returning from Bootcamp. Not that I'm complaining. Having 8 of them in print or forthcoming is already a tremendous thing.
