Dear Mr. Munsil:We're pleased to inform you that the fourth part of your "Stone Musings" essay is slated for publication in the September/October issue.
As you know, editors enjoy writing like "Stone Musings #4" because it gives readers a real look into the writer's life. Reality television, even though it is
typically stilted, is so popular because audiences like to see real people
in real struggles. In addtion, this piece gives a look into the way the writer reacts with his family. It sounds trite, but the best writing isn't easy for the writer to create, or often times, even read once it is in print. Please accept our sincere congratulations on such a well-written piece of work. If you have questions, please feel free to contact me or Editor-in-Chief Mark Hopkins (cnf_rwj@graffiti.net).

They don't sound all that easy to please. They sound intelligent and discerning.
Write on! Mike

#5 is underway.
See, mike. I knew you had it in you! I've been telling you all this time!
They (RWJ editorial staff) really do try and work with you. Last night I bounced the structure of the next piece off them for their input, and received a reply this morning. Now, it pretty much said "we agree" but they did respond, and they did turn it around pretty quickly.
