"What a f***ing day!"
Sean took a long drag on his cigarette and sighed. Still, he couldn't help feeling guilty. His wife would bitch him out if she smelled smoke on him again. He supposedly quit months ago.
"Ah hell."
Sean flicked the cigarette out the window of his Suburban and grabbed for the pack of gum on the dash. This was becoming a daily ritual on the drive home. He knew Carol wasn't stupid. She had to know he was smoking again, but as long as she didn't say anything he would continue to push his luck.
"It's that damn job," he muttered.
