I wouldn't mind having a look, if you'd like.

It's sent. Tell me if you got it.

Well, I've only gotten one person. And they didn't seem to have done much critiquing on it. So I'm asking again, that if anyone likes what is above, ask for the rest of it and do Skylar a favor and critique it for him (I'm Skylar by the way)

"If you can keep your head while all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you,
If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you,
But make allowance for their doubting too;
If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,
Or being lied about, don't deal in lies,
Or being hated, don't give way to hating,
And yet don't look too good, nor talk too wise"

You'll probably not find too many takers for poetry, Infyrno. Poetry is possibly the most subjective writing of all despite the fact that it can also be the most exacting -- or maybe because of it. If you're serious about poetry, an actual poetry group would be better inclined to critique it, I'd think.

Hehe... Any suggestions? All of the ones that I've found have been where you have to pay to enter contests and so forth.

"Do not fear the penguin. It is simply searching for a place to properly store his walnuts. And can you blame him? I mean how long have YOU lived beneath that yam? You’d be galumphing your way about your favorite turtle dove, yourself and WHACK!!! There goes the lasagna!"

I'm out of my element here, but Writer's Digest puts out a Poet's Market or some such title that may list some online groups -- or at least give a place to start. Maybe check with Writer's Digest online first.
