By the way, it took me a while to find this - you can purchase ebook versions of the magazines at fictionwise.com (a b&n company). Great if there is an old issue you want.

Also, I wonder if electronic subs increases the traffic considerably (ie more competition, more slush).

I imagine they'll get more submissions from overseas writers at the very least.

According to Scope, today is the day when Analog will be accepting electronic submissions. At the time of this post, the e-submit process is still not up, but ready for launch.

The online submission system is up and running.

A warning, the system asks for doc files only. Nothing about rtf files.
