Well kind citizens of my favorite writers workshop, I am taking off for now.

I have a great deal of powereful writing goals for myself this year. Many are under way already. My departure is mainly to focus on writing without being too distracted. I invest too much time perusing the topics and posting when I should be writing. If all goes well, and I have no reason to think that it won't, I will return when I have some achievements posted in the win column. Perhaps then I will have some better advice to offer.

I thank you all for your help in advaning my writing abilities. There are too many that have helped me to list, and you will be missed, but those that know me and have communicated with me through emails, you still have my email, and most of you know that you can email me anytime you need a crit, a brainstorming partner, or a word of encouragement. My door is always open for any reason. I will always help in anyway I can.

Hopefully you will start to see my name in a few places, if you have taken my biggest advice...to read the publications you want to get published in. I have about eight stories as of this minute that I feel are pro-rate ready, and I have plotted about ten more, so I will have my hands full getting those written and seriously edited. I have WOTF in my scope, and I won't post here again until I place or make anything above HM and get a pro pub.

You are only as close as a post, to returning should you ever feel the need. It's not a binary operation.

This is like a confessional from a smoker that woke up with a hacking fit. Quit for a day, maybe two. Then bum a smoke and in a week they're right back to a pack-a-day.

Let's face it, we poke our nose here because it makes a nice distraction. Nothing wrong with it, it fits in our chosen hobby.

So unless Scotty has decided to sever his internet service, (even then with the ease to get free wi-fi it won't be that easy to stay away) you can bet that ole BT will be scrolling through this site, maybe even reading this wanting to curse me out but can't because doing so will only prove me right.

You're hooked buddy. So sit down, we'll get you a light, and join in on one of the challenges.
