Anne, I think this has been posted here before. Still, it's cool.

Who among us would post a picture of his/her writing area?

I would have no objections to doing so, but I would want to rent a bulldozer and clean my office up a bit first.

S!
S!

Lol, IB, now that you mention it, I remember posting this before... or something similar!

Edited to add: Is this what happens when I've been here for over a year? I just start repeating myself?

Love it! Wonder if my husband will lay off the complaints of the messy desk. But I think I need the couple hugos and bestsellers first. :/

A little bummed to see how heavy the group is on people...of an age...and gender. We need loads more young writers, and a few more women. We best all get writing.

Hey, watch it KayTi. I've yet to be published and just started getting serious about writing a couple of years ago. Wouldja believe I'm 57? LOL

I feel old when realizing the only two authors I recognize are old timers... mainly Piers Anthony and Frederick Pohl.

What I can't get over is the quality of the rooms! I live in a hovel by comparison .

I wouldn't dream of posting pictures of where I write. I'm a slob.

I recognize Margaret Weis and Peter Straub as well as Piers Anthony. I'm also one of those that would have to overhaul his desk before posting.
I know you can only tell so much from a picture, but the one thing that all of those pictures look like they have in common is that they look quiet. There do not seem to be any auditory distractions (a problem I am currently having with my writing at home). <sigh>
