New competition for those suffering from terminal ennui. Check the rules in the competition section.

Basically, it's about including the title of novel in your intro's prose. Any genre is acceptable. Bit of a challenge--give it a try.

There are plenty of lists of book titles about:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_book_titles_taken_from_literature

...is just one.

But these examples are titles that were influnced by a passage in another piece of literature.
Do you want us to write an opening where a title to a book is in it? For example...

I found the great Gatsby on the stoop of my apartment building holding a bottle of cheap wine while smoking the butt of a cigarette he dug out of a crack in the sidewalk.
