Ya gotta love science. CNN reports today that scientists believe invisibility is possible using "metamaterials -- manmade composites engineered on a nano scale with properties entirely different to anything found in nature."

There was an article in discover a few months ago on this topic. A Japanese professor made a garment that looked like a pancho and worked like a less effective version of the Predator invisibility.

It's not going to happen tomorrow, but who knows - maybe in a few decades?

That reminds my of the Warder's cloak in the WOT series.

I remember a Dilbert cartoon where he made an invisible cloak. But he put it down, and forgot where he put it, and couldn't find it...

Hang out in the lab and see what people say about you when you're not around.

Wait. Maybe that's not such a good idea.

I remember this article. I thought it mildly ironic that with the invisi-whatever on you wouldn't be able to see anything.

Oh, man! I want to be invisible! You could play the best practical jokes that way.
