I've come across a few markets devoted to this type of fiction, and was just curious about what other people think of it. Like it? Hate it? Undecided? How absurd does a story have to be to fall into this genre?

It can be all right if it's well done. But even when it's well done, there's only so much of it that I can read at one time.
And when it's badly done....oof.

Would 'absurdism' simply be a resurrection of Dada?
Can somebody publish a link to give us an example?

There's also Harold Pinter and Sam Beckett for drama lovers. Um, I think Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead was by Tom Stoppard and that was an absurdist movie.
