Some of those are good questions for any story project, some are simply good to get kids thinking about the story.

I think that number 4 is rather limited. There are a lot more cinematographic options than just color or black and white. Despite that, the essential question being asked is a good one. What is the mood of the work as a whole? Giving something a consistent emotive quality while allowing variation of incident and theme is one of those problems that much interests me in writing.
