So on with June...
1. Draft 20k words on my novel or else!
2. Have a full story concept outlined for the next First Line submission.
3. Participate in at least two more flash challenges.
(These should look familiar, since they are the same from the "end of May" post)
Anyways, on to the goals.
By the end of June I will...
1. Develop at least one flash story and submit it, somewhere.
2. Go have a good time at my sister's wedding and have fun relaxing on the beach for a week!
3. Write at least one postcard flash story and send it to someone.
Do the final revisions of "The Toppled Towers" and send it off!
Revise and submit "A Convocation of Clowns".
Participate in the flash challenges.
Rewrite "The Traveling Puppet Show", hopefully in time to submit to FWG.
Work on background/worldbuilding/characters for novel.
Consistently make time for writing every day!

Name the novel
Crit something from F&F.
Post something to F&F.
Participate in a Flash.
(My "by end of May" was to register and post to Hatrack. I squeaked it.)
Lisa
1. Make sure I get daily meditation/prayer time followed by at least 30 minutes of writing.
2. Write/work on at least one poem per day
3. Read more short stories/short-short stories
4. Flash Challenges
5. Draft Reiki I worksheets
1. Participate in Flash Challenges every week. This is a no brainer. I'm addicted, and it would be very hard for me to give them up, so I'm not sure that counts as a goal.
2. Choose which story of the three I'm considering to submit to WOTF by no later than June 5.
3. Write that puppy! Rewrite that puppy! Get critiques on it! Write it again! et cetera until June 20th.
4. Get it in the mail to WotF by June 20th. (The deadline for them to receive it this quarter is June 30, and I want to account for the postal system.)
5. This is not a writing goal, but it is important to me: get my housecleaning caught up to the point where I can have people drop in unexpectedly by June 8th. If I set a specific date maybe it will actually happen.
Keep trying to write three pages a week, on any of the three stories I have going now.
Does it count if I rewrote the first three pages the other day towards my EOM(end of May) goal?
-Bryan-
Spend more time on my WIP.
Finish at least 2 short stories. (As they're half-done already, you'd think that wouldn't sound so masochistic.)
Finish reading at least 3 long novels.
Um, once I've done that I may post another goal. I guess I will let Survivor read my first five chapters.
1. Thorough house cleaning
2. Three newsletters (one is virtually done now)
3. Participate in at least three of Liberty Hall's flash challenges, preferably all
4. Rewrite/edit at least four shorts
5. Submit at least two shorts
6. Find a full time job
Anyway, I will:
1. Finish reading the book my friend let me borrow.
2. Start reading the four books I bought way back in January.
3. Finish my "Shethdyn" rewrite.
4. Finish another chapter in my novel.
::slinks away::
- Finish thinking up the mileau for my amazingly boring book.
- Write entire plot outline for my tremendously unsuccessful attempt at sci-fi.
- Write drafts for first four chapters of my intensely unappealing book.
- Pat myself on the back for being so optimistic from the start.

Done! Now, on to the rest of the list...

- Choose a market for "Master of Roads" and submit.
- Add another chapter to "The Castle in the Story" (online story a couple of... I guess you'd call them fans... have asked me to continue)
- Go over outline of "Carrick" for fundamental plot/character flaws; when finished, write first five scenes.
- Submit section of "Carrick" to F&F.
- Give "Over the Transom" a final look/rewrite: submit to Paradox.

Check! (I managed to write up four postcard stories and sent them off last week. They aren't particularly good, but they were fun. )
---------------
How is everyone else doing?
I've looked the outline of "Carrick" over and solved every problem I can see, including a rather nasty one that shows up at the very beginning. I'm now working on the rough draft.
I don't think I'll submit anything but the first section in F&F. I'll worry too much about little things if I do that.
Still haven't decided where to send "Master of Roads".
Everything else sort of got left by the wayside in the whirlwind this month became.
I'm going to try to keep on writing. My goal is to write at least 3 pages on any of my three WIP's a week.
Is that soo bad a goal? But I'm thinking on shooting for the Jan quarter of WotF, I think it might end up being "Olympus Uprising" going, but who knows. <shrugs>
So until further notice, this is the same thing that's going to be on the "By the end of..." goal thing.
-Monolith-
Guess the list will continue for July, with some minor tweaking.

Thorough house cleaning: ugh. That got deferred to this weekend.
Newsletters: 2 1/2. Now I have 1 1/2 to go for this weekend.
Flash Challenges: Made two out of four.
Rewrite/edit: also 2 of 4
Submissions: Accomplished! Yay!
Full time job: Well, halfway there, anyway. Passed the first exam two days ago, next: training, 12 July. I'm also still pursuing other avenues for employment as well as working on developing my own business. Agh, too many new things going on at once here!
Didn't accomplish everything, but I'm not too displeased with what I did.

Hah. Didn't happen. Maybe next month.
Well, I did much better this month than last. I'm pretty happy with it.
