Talk about the pot calling the kettle black Lulu POD is calling other POD companies like iUniverse vanity presses.

I have used Lulu before but there is nothing to seperate them from any other POD except maybe no upfront costs. I don't know that just sort of pissed me off.

The only actual affordable pod printer I know of is a comic book printer called comxpress. But that is not very helpful if your trying to self publish a novel.

Well, I think that's almost what defines a vanity press: publishing costs paid by the author.
