Hi all! I have a couple of short stories that i want to submit to magazines. only trouble is I live in Israel and know nothing of fiction magazines and such in the US. Can anyone give me advice on magazines to write to? PS: I would rather submit by e-mail if possible...
Try these two sites....the first one, in particular, is one I use often. It has a search engine and one of the options is to limit by places that accept e-subs.

Hey, thanks for that great link Christine! I had heard of Ralan, but not the other one.

You're quite welcome. Actually, I only heard about it a month ago and I've been using it regularly ever since. (I got onto a submission spree this past month...I've got 10 stories out right now. )

Ten? Wow, that's impressive. I've never had more than three out at a time, although that should change soon.
I just don't have that many finished stories.

Perhaps I'll try WOTF.

Yeah, I'm sort of impressed with myself. I was blocked for several months, couldn't finish a short story or start a novel. All of a sudden April rolls around and Spring must have had an effect on more than the flowers...I started writing short stories and couldn't stop...I also got a new novel rolling. Who knows if anyone will pick up any of those stories, but they're out to a wide variety of markets (pro and semi-pro) so who knows?

I find I've been getting up at about 6am most days lately. This would be great for my writing except I'm a director of a small IT company, and my partner's been doing exactly the same.
