The Air Force is sending me off to training for a month, and unfortunately, I likely won't have internet access. See you guys in April!!

A good friend of mine was just send to Kuwait about two weeks ago. I've known her for years, from when she was only a junior in high school, and it was strange seening her during the farwell we held for her and realizing that there was a not statistically insignificat chance that she would not be coming back from the war.

Thanks all for the kind words... But apparently the old Officer Training School adage of "flexibility is the key to airpower" holds true in the operational AF. I sat around half the day today waiting for my orders to be cut (authorizing me to go to training), only to find out that nope! There's not a spot for me and no orders. SOOOO I'm still here at base, waiting to start my tech training.
So I'll be around... for a little while yet!
