Haven't recieved any entries for week ten. I thought I made an interesting synopsis. Has the ship been abandoned?

It's not your synopsis, it's me...

Seriously, I haven't been able to enter these past two (three?) weeks despite every intention to do so. I've just been swamped and devoid of creative energy.

If you don't get enough entries we could hold this one over for another week.

Added: Also, the deadline is tomorrow midnight, right? I can get something in by then!

I'm good with extending the deadline for a week, and maybe extending the contest to a two week cycle, rather than having voting and entries overlapping. It might allow the more time-cramped of us to participate more fully.

Of course, it could be that the First 13 Challenge has run its course, since we've had decreasing participation for the past few weeks. Maybe summer is taking its toll.

I am all for extending this an extra week as well. I didn't plan on participating last week but threw something together in five minutes when I saw the lack of participation for Wolfe-boys. Man did get hammered for the lack of effort.
So lets make this a two week thing. A little breathing space please.

I think we need some fresh blood too.... any of you new people interested in the First 13 Challenge? It's a very friendly way to exercise your story-opening muscles!

I've decanted the wort into the fermenter. I'll see if the fancy tickles my muse and go from there. A hunting they will go. A hunting they will go. Hi ho, the dealio. A hunted they will be.

Gotta say you fooled me completely with the post title. What it actually had to do with never entered my mind. (Haven't paid much attention to the ongoing contests for a month or so.)

I should be able to return to the contest in a week. By the way Benttree it wasnt the synopsis, I hadnt read it yet, was just going to vote like last week. But I am again feeling the urge to sail the seas, and order a crew around.

A mutiny? Arghh. Tiergan, stand in line--if there's ordering to be done, by Neptune, I shall do it.

So I get to keep the parrot for another week. My shoulder is gonna stink.

I am all for a further week.
