You don't need to register on Thursday to come on Friday or Saturday. Some people can only be there on Saturday, so they have to wait until then to register. You do have to register in advance for the Lucky 13 sessions (there's one Friday and one Saturday) if you want to get feedback on your 13 lines. If you just want to come and give feedback, you don't need to register at all. The registration (sign-up) is to fill the five slots in each hour.
Those five people will need to bring copies of their 13 lines (at least five copies--one for each of the other four people who will also bring copies and one copy for me--more if they want written feedback from anyone else who shows up).
It can be the first 13 lines, 13 lines of plot outline, or 13 lines of description.
Each person gets about 10 minutes of the hour. The 13 lines will be read (notice the passive here), and then discussed in those 10 minutes.
The idea is to give people a quicky, in-person workshop experience in giving and receiving feedback.
If you don't think it will benefit you to be one of the v/i/c/t/i/m/s participants, you are welcome to show up as part of the audience to help give feedback--so they'll be able to see how it's done.
