Discussing Published Hooks & Books
Topics here could start with a 13-line quote from the start of a published work and then discuss what works and doesn't work about the opening. Or they could be for discussion of other aspects of published books.

Writing Challenges
Here is where participants posted the first 13 lines of their submissions to the latest writing challenge and asked for feedback on those lines and/or the whole story. This is also where other writing challenges, such as Liberty Hall, were be announced.
Grist for the Mill
This was for topics where we shared the good and bad things that happened in our lives that didn't particularly have to do with writing. Who knows? It might have given someone a story idea. It was NOT for polemics of any kind.
Character Interviews
This is where participants created topics for their characters and gave a description, then as others asked the character questions, they could answer them as if they were the characters. The idea was to help them get to know their characters better.
