I started writing here on this forum when I was in high school. I was primarily writing fan-fiction in the "Virtual Battle School" on this forum and now that I'm an adult (WOW) and an English teacher, I'm teaching this book to my students.

I wanted to introduce them to Battle School and fan-fiction as a form of writing through role playing but the forum is completely gone.

Where is it?
Are there archives?
Any plans on bringing it back?

I wasn't involved in the ones you mention so I'm not sure if they are still in that area or not.
