We all know the game six degrees of seperation(Kevin Bacon style).
I was concidering tonight some supporting actors who would (by virtue of their being in so many supporting roles) be great links.

Ron Pearlman
Bruce Dern
Stanley Tucci
Ed Harris
Strother Martin
David Morse
Judi Dench
Juliana Moore
Geoffrey Lewis
Ian Holm
Nick Chinlund
William Fitchner
Phillip Seymour Hoffman
Joan Cusack

I tried to pick people without a lot of big name leading man/woman recognition.
Christopher Walken and John Malkovich are awesome supporting actors but their names are well known and well remembered.
Ron Pearlman and Ed Harris are on their way to being on the list with Walken and Malkovich but I still think some people will recognize them without really knowing their names.

So thats what we are looking for prolific supporting actors that we all recognize but dont always remember their names.

Clint Howard, for the win.

Support he is not. In every movie, he is.

John Turturro. His cameo in the immensely forgettable "Collateral Damage" made me snort with laughter

Okay, I have some problems with a few names on the list, but I'm going to choose only one to take issue with.

Dame Judi Dench is a supporting roll actress? Surely you jest.

She wasn't exactly the lead role in Riddick

You know, that movie's a blur to me. I don't remember him in it.

On a side note, I met John Turturro in a parking garage in Lower Manhattan. Have a picture of him next to my son. Really cool guy. [Smile]

Jonathan Rhys Davis

His best supporting role wasn't even Indiana Jones. It was in Wing Commander 3 and 4.

SO agree. Anyone who thinks she's not a well-known leading lady has quite a bit of catch-up watching to do.

He definitely belongs on this list. He's also (or he was 20 years ago, at least) a really, really nice guy.

Brian Blessed. He's everywhere. Once you hear his voice, you'll never forget it.
