I ran into a word the other day, but I can't remember the word, and googling a definition doesn't work.
The word refers to a kind of position that pays well, but doesn't require much work or responsibility. Like being a board member in a corporation, or a figurehead position, especially if it's appointed as some kind of quid pro quo.

When was the last time you jumped off a building with nothing but a grappling gun to save you? Batman earns his keep.
Now Robin, totally sinecure.
