Looks much better than I originally gave Marvel credit for. I am still skeptical, but this trailer does look pretty cool.

Or for the non-Apple trailer. . .

Looks a lot better than the early teasers.

Looking forward to it.

I used to think Chris Evans was over-rated, but the more I see him play different roles, the more I like him.

I'd like to know where I can get one of those machines that makes you turn from dweeb to hunk...or where I can borrow one for a few hours.

I liked Evans in PUSH, although so far he and Chris Pine are somewhat interchangeable IMO.

I missed Push, but really enjoyed Sunshine (loved the first two acts, strongly disliked the last one). One of the most "sciency" sci-fi's I've ever seen a major movie house make.

I think what I like about Chris Evens is his versatility, that is, being believable in many different roles.

Unrelatedly, I think Ed Harris is the most versatile actor working, from morally confused but tough as nails general in The Rock, to lovable science nerd dad in Milk Money to raging psychopath in Just Cause, no matter what, he turns in an amazing performance (except maybe as Beethoven).

The skinny Chris Evans is just a bit creepy. I really hope he keeps his shirt for his before-cap scenes.

Chris Evans has always just been "that guy" when I see him in movies. I guess he's off my radar.

But now that I think about it, I did like him in "Sunshine" and he had an entertaining cameo in "Scott Pilgrim." Any guy who can be cast by Danny Boyle AND Edgar Wright must be someone for me to watch.

I really enjoyed the trailer. SO much better than the trailers for "The Green Lantern." I love the whole period feel, which is probably the only reason the outfit doesn't look completely ridiculous.

Cap better be punching Hitler in the face.

I like how they worked in Cap punching Hitler in the face. As he should. As he should.

My only problem with this movie was the voice over for the small Steve Rogers scenes. They didn't alter Chris Evan's voice digitally, which I understand because that might make fans disassociate Evan's pre-serum from post-serum, and take from the viewers enjoyment of the performance. So here is the problem, Evan's tried speaking softly without sounding like a child which resulted in occasional line delivery in bass. The problem is with the voice over director, everything linked up so it didn't look like a lip-synch but this left little Steve Rogers sounding burly and deep chested.

So really, if I'm whining about this the rest of the movie must be pretty good.

Totally agree about the voice. It just didn't fit the little body. Very distracting.

Skinny people can have deep voices. It's possible.

Yeah but just cuz it can hapen doesn't mean it's a good thing.

Well, I'm used to watching everything dubbed these days, so I shan't be seeing it in English and it won't make any difference to me (or the movie's international success). Yay!

I wonder if watching Captain America dubbed in mandarin is as funny to the Chinese as the old kung-fu movies are to us.

Thinking about it - would Captain America even be released in China? I have no idea.

It could be, but its pretty much up to the whims of the Ministry of Culture, they banned Command and Conquer Generals despite it having the PLA as being the heroes who saved Europe from the terrorists. (Because it depicted China as nuke happy and willing to destroy the Three Gorges Dam to kill terrorists, and Tianimen Square got nuked by terrorists.)
